June 1 Update Weather still good, we might just make it…

Weather looks good, lows 7C & up for the next week. We might just make it past the last chance of zero temps/frost….
Transplanted tomatoes into the next to last homes (small shrub pots) till they go in the GH or big planters on the deck.
Bought some flowers (petunias mainly), and planted most of my potatoes.
I think I may rush a head with a seeding of the lawn soon. Need to aerate it first. Weed too.
Basil looks good, and lettuce is coming along.
More peas are making an appearance as well.

  1. I planted my tomatoes into the garden the last of May. Since then they have had 2 days of sun. Rain everyday and temps in the 50’s F. Poor things…I’m sure they would like to be back in my potting shed.

  2. Ouch, on the temps and rain. That sounds like Yellowknife in August…usually late August.
    Hopefully things improve soon.
We’ve been dry. No rain, of any significant amount since around the May 18th weekend. It is clouding over a bit now and it is quite windy, so something might happen.
